திரை விமர்சனம்: பாட்னர்

ரூ.25 லட்சம் கடன் வாங்கி தொழில் தொடங்கும் ஸ்ரீதர் (ஆதி), நஷ்டமடைகிறார். கடன் கொடுத்தவர், ‘பணத்தைக் கொடு, இல்லை என்றால் தங்கை யை திருமணம் செய்து கொடு’ என்று கேட்கிறார். இதனால் பணம் சம்பாதிக்க, நண்பன் கல்யாணை (யோகிபாபு) தேடி, சென்னை வருகிறார் ஸ்ரீதர். கல்யாண், ஹைடெக் திருட்டு வேலை பார்ப்பது தெரியவருகிறது. வேறு வழியில்லாமல் அவருடன் சேர்கிறார். இவர்கள் ஒரு மெகா திருட்டை செய்தால், ரூ.50 லட்சம் கிடைக்கும் என்ற ஆஃபர் வருகிறது. சரி என்கிறார்கள். அவர்கள் திருடப்போகும் இடம் விஞ்ஞானியின் (பாண்டியராஜன்) லேப். அங்கு நடக்கும் குளறுபடியால், கல்யாணுக்கு ஊசி ஒன்று குத்திவிடுகிறது. விளைவு, ஆணாக இருந்த கல்யாண், மறுநாள் கல்யாணி (ஹன்சிகா) ஆகிவிடுகிறார். இதனால் ஏற்படும் களேபரங்களும் அவர் மீண்டும் கல்யாணாக மாறினாரா இல்லையா என்பதும்தான் படம்.

சுவாரஸ்யமான இந்த ஒன் லைனை வைத்துக்கொண்டு காமெடி படம் தர முயற்சி செய்திருக்கிறார் இயக்குநர் மனோஜ் தாமோதரன். அதற்கான சாத்தியக் கூறுகள் அதிகம் இருந்தாலும், அதில் பாதிதான் வெற்றி பெற்றிருக்கிறார். ஆண், பெண்ணாக மாறுவதுதான் கதையின் மையம். ஆனால், இந்த விஷயமே இடைவேளைக்கு முன் தான் நடக்கிறது. அதுவரை நடக்கும் கதைகளில், எண்ணி சில இடங்களில் மட்டும் சிரித்துவிட்டு, அப்புறம்? என்று உட்கார்ந்திருக்க வேண்டியிருக்கிறது. பின் பகுதி கதையில் கிளைமாக்ஸுக்கு முந்தைய காட்சிகளில் மட்டும், காமெடி நன்றாகக் கைகொடுத்திருக்கிறது.

ஆதி, வழக்கம்போல சிறப்பான நடிப்பை வழங்கியிருக்கிறார், காதலி பாலக் லால்வாணி மற்றும் ஹன்சிகாவிடம் மாட்டிக்கொண்டு படுகிற தவிப்பு ரசிக்க வைக்கிறது. அவர் கதாபாத்திரம் வலுவானதாக இல்லாததால், அதற்கு மேல் அவராலும் என்ன செய்ய முடியும்? யோகிபாபுவின் காமெடி சில இடங்களில் மட்டுமே சிரிக்க முடிகிறது.

ஹன்சிகாதான் மொத்தப் படத்துக்கும் ஆறுதல். பெண் தோற்றத்தில் ஆணாக அவர் படும் ரகளையை ரசிக்கலாம். அவர் உடல் மொழியும் நடிப்பும் ரசனை. நாயகி பாலக் லால்வாணிக்கு அதிக வாய்ப்பில்லை.

ரோபோ சங்கர், தங்கதுரை, அகஸ்டின் ஆகியோரின் உருவக் கேலி மற்றும் இரட்டை அர்த்த வசனங்கள் சிரிப்புக்குப் பதில் எரிச்சலையே தருகின்றன. அமைச்சர் ரவிமரியா, விஞ்ஞானி பாண்டியராஜன், யோகி பாபுவின் காதலி 'மைனா' நந்தினி,திருட்டு கம்பெனி ஹெச்.ஆர். முனிஷ்காந்த், ஜான்விஜய் என அனைவரையும் காமெடிக்கு பயன்படுத்தி இருக்கிறார்கள்.

சந்தோஷ் தயாநிதியின் பின்னணி இசையும் ஷபீர் அகமதுவின் ஒளிப்பதிவும் படத்துக்கு ஓரளவு உதவி இருக்கின்றன. காமெடிக்கு லாஜிக் எதற்கு என்று நினைத்தவர்கள், திரைக்கதையை இன்னும் நகைச்சுவையாக எழுதியிருந்தால், நாமும் இந்தப் படத்தின் ‘பாட்னர்’ ஆகியிருக்கலாம்.

Partner Movie Review in Tamil:  மனோஜ் தாமோதரன் இயக்கத்தில் ஆதி, ஹன்சிகா மோத்வானி,பாலக் லால்வாணி, யோகிபாபு, பாண்டியராஜன், ரவி மரியா, ஜான் விஜய்,யோகிபாபு உள்ளிட்ட பலரும் நடித்துள்ள படம் 'பாட்னர்'. ஷபீர் அகமது ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்திருக்கும் இந்தப் படத்துக்கு சந்தோஷ் தயாநிதி இசையமைத்துள்ளார். ராயல் ஃபார்ச்சூனா கிரியேஷன்ஸ் சார்பில் கோலி சூரியபிரகாஷ் தயாரித்துள்ள இந்த படத்தின் விமர்சனத்தை காணலாம். 

படத்தின் கதை

ஆதியும், யோகிபாபுவும் திருடச் சென்ற இடத்தில் எதிர்பாராத சம்பவம் நடக்கிறது. இதில் யோகிபாபு ஹன்சிகாவாக மாற அதன் பின்னால் என்ன நடக்கிறது என்பதே ஒன்லைன் ஸ்டோரியாகும். 

உயிரிழந்தவரின் டி.என்.ஏ.,வை நிகழ்காலத்தில் வாழ்பவர்கள் உடலில் செலுத்தி, இறந்தவரின் செயல்பாடுகளை கொண்டு வரும் மருந்து கண்டுபிடித்து வெற்றி பெறுகிறார் பாண்டியராஜன். அவரின் கண்டுபிடிப்பை வெளிநாட்டில் இருந்து திருட வருகிறார் பாண்டியராஜனின் முன்னாள் மாணவர் ஜான் விஜய். இதனிடையே தான் வாங்கிய கடனுக்காக, தங்கையை வட்டிக்காரனுக்கு திருமணம்  செய்து வைக்கும் நிலை ஹீரோ ஆதிக்கு வருகிறது.

இதனால் பணம் சம்பாதிக்க யோகிபாபுவுடன் சேர்ந்து திருட்டு வேலைகளில் ஈடுபடுகிறார். இப்படியான நிலையில், ஜான் விஜய் அசைன்மெண்ட் இவர்களிடம் வருகிறது.  இதற்காக வாங்கிய ரூ.50 லட்சம் பணத்தை அரசியல்வாதி ரவிமரியாவிடம், தான் வந்து கேட்டால் மட்டுமே தர வேண்டும் என யோகிபாபு கொடுத்து வைக்கிறார். ஆராய்ச்சி மருத்தை எடுக்க பாண்டியராஜன் லேப்-க்கு வரும் இடத்தில் தவறுதலாக மருந்து யோகிபாபுவுக்கு செலுத்தபட அவர் பெண்ணாக (ஹன்சிகா) மாறுகிறார். இதன் பின்னர் நடக்கும் கலவரங்கள் தான் இந்த படத்தின் கதையாகும். 

நடிப்பு எப்படி?

நீண்ட இடைவெளிக்கு பிறகு ஆதி தமிழில் படம் நடித்துள்ளார். ஆனால் இது அவருக்கான கம்பேக் படமாக அமையவில்லை என்பதே உண்மை. இதேபோல் இடைவேளைக்குப் பின் வரும் ஹன்சிகா, ஹீரோயினாக வரும் பாலக் லால்வாணி, யோகிபாபு, ரோபோ ஷங்கர், ரவிமரியா, முனீஷ்காந்த், தங்கத்துரை என ஏகப்பட்ட நட்சத்திரங்கள் இருந்தாலும் யாருடைய கேரக்டரும் படம் பார்ப்பவர்களை பெரிய அளவில் கவரவில்லை. பொதுவாக மிரட்டலான வில்லன்களுக்கு படத்தில் அதிகம் காட்சி வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் என பார்த்தால் இதில் ஜான் விஜய் வரும் சீன்களை  எண்ணி விடலாம். 1

படம் எப்படி?

தங்கச்சி சென்டிமென்ட், திருட்டு, அறிவியல் ஆராய்ச்சி என ஆரம்பத்தில் சொல்லப்படும் கதை படம் சூப்பராக இருக்கும்போல என உட்காரும் ரசிகர்களுக்கு, இது காமெடி சீனா?... இல்லை சீரியஸ் சீனா? என யோசிக்க வைக்கும் அளவுக்கு திரைக்கதை மோசமாக அமைந்துள்ளது. படம் முழுக்க பேசிக்கொண்டே இருக்கிறார்கள். திருடப்போகும்போது கூட ஒரு சீரியஸ் இல்லை. தமிழ் சினிமா பார்த்து பார்த்து ரசித்த காட்சிகளை ஆங்காங்கே கோர்த்துள்ளார்கள்.

யாரிடமும் ஒரு முழுமையான நடிப்பு வெளிப்படவில்லை என்றே தோன்றுகிறது. பாடல்கள் படத்துக்கு தடையாக அமைந்துள்ளது. ஆங்காங்கே ரோபோ ஷங்கர் ஒன்லைன் வசனங்களும், யோகிபாபு ஹன்சிகாவாக மாறி பெண்கள் குறித்து பேசுவதும் ரசிக்க வைக்கிறது. இசை, ஒளிப்பதிவு என அனைத்தும் சிறப்பாக கையாளப்பட்டிருந்தாலும் கூட காட்சிகளின் சுவாரஸ்யமின்மை அனைத்தையும் தலைகீழாக மாற்றி விடுகிறது. 

 மற்றபடி ஆரம்பம் முதல் இறுதி வரை சிரிக்க வைக்கிறேன் என்ற பெயரில் படக்குழு செய்த மெனக்கெடலை கதையில் செய்திருந்தால் படம் நிஜமாகவே ரசிக்க வைத்திருக்கும் என்பதே உண்மை.

Partner review: Hansika scores the brownie points in this light-hearted entertainer

Aadhi Pinnisetty and Yogi Babu combine well, in the beginning, to keep the film engaging and entertaining.

Offers only a few laughs.

Director Manoj Damodharan seems to have made his film Partner , a simple comedy, with the sole ambition of entertaining the masses.

The movie revolves around two friends — Sridhar (Aadhi Pinisetty) and Kalyan (Yogi Babu). It is a simple light-hearted entertainer, that doesn’t pay too much attention to logic and has no message whatsoever to offer audiences.

An entrepreneur, Sridhar suffers huge losses in his shrimp farming business. He comes to the city to meet his friend Kalyan.

Kalyan works in a firm that looks like an IT office but, in reality, is basically a bunch of thieves, fraudsters and scamsters working together to cheat gullible people.

Sridhar’s sudden trip is out of desperation. He has to arrange a huge sum of money which he takes as a loan for his business from a financier. The financier demands that either Sridhar pay him back or give the hand of his sister in marriage to him.

A scientist and an experiment.

In another part of the same city, there lives a scientist (Pandiarajan) who carries out research on animals. His research enables him to find a method through which the traits and behaviours of one animal can be transferred to another.

Looking to steal this finding and make a fortune by selling it in the international market is John Vijay (John Vijay), a former associate of the scientist.

John Vijay, a rich businessman now, employs three simpletons — Robo Shankar (Samadhanam), Thangadurai (Annadhanam), and Augustin (BlackBerry) — to steal the chip vital for the transfer.

They fail in their mission. As a result, John Vijay approaches Kalyan’s firm to complete the task.

Sridhar, who is in desperate need of money to stop his sister’s forced wedding, sees this as an opportunity to make money and convinces Kalyan to join him in this effort.

However, things get out of hand when both friends try to steal the formula. A series of unexpected developments occur and Kalyan gets accidentally turned into a woman (Hansika). What happens then is what Partner is all about.

Funny in parts .

When all that a film has to offer is comedy, one can do nothing but just smile and while away time. However, even for this to happen, most jokes in the film must work.

To director Manoj Damodharan’s credit, he creates a number of situations in the plot that provide enough scope for comedians to deliver genuinely funny jokes.

Sadly though, not all comedians make good use of the opportunities that come their way. While some jokes work, others don’t.

However, as the story progresses, the responsibility of providing the laughs falls heavily on the shoulders of actress Hansika who does a reasonably good job.

The portions where Yogi Babu turns into Hansika are quite interesting with Hansika having to reproduce Yogi Babu’s body language.

To her credit, Hansika does a fine job in several sequences and to some degree, succeeds in her mission.

Ravi Mariya as Agni Kunju and Robo Shankar as Samadhanam also provide entertainment. However, despite their best efforts the film doesn’t impress.

Partner is meant for those who wish to watch a film that doesn’t look to preach and has a few laughs to offer.
