Reflection: work immersion program.

Work Immersion is one of the graduate requirements. Work Immersion in an industry directly related to the student's postsecondary objective is required for Senior High School students. The Department of Education's Order No. 40 series of 2015 identifies Work Immersion as "the part of the Senior High School (SHS) Curriculum consisting of 80 hours of practical learning perception or work simulation that Senior High Students would then conduct to showcase them to the real-world workplace setting and enhance the institution's qualifications underneath the direction of teachers. Senior high students benefit from this curriculum since it trains them for what is to come once, they have completed their various strands. Work Immersion exposes students to and familiarizes them with work-related environments connected to their field of specialization in order to improve their competency. Work Immersion would also teach students how to maintain a positive attitude in every workplace, as well as how to properly deal with a variety of workplace scenarios

Students can obtain relevant and practical industrial skills while being mentored by industry experts and professionals grasp the significance and application of the ideas and theories taught in school, improve their technical knowledge and skills, expand their communication and human relations abilities, and build healthy work habits, attitudes, appreciation, and respect for work. These prepare students to address the requirements and challenges of the future. This one will offer the students a look of the real world of work that they could experience after graduation, if they choose to resume in college, but when they do, it'll also aid them in their university pursuits because it will help them focus a variety of skills that are essential and useful in higher education.

This experience will undoubtedly benefit them not just in their current role as students, but also in their future role as professional members of society. This is extremely advantageous for learners in terms of improving their talents and enlightening their minds in areas where they are lacking. This work immersion is seen as a necessary step for students to improve and expand their skills in the field of their choice. Throughout this step, students may comprehend exactly their preferred courses may continue in the future, giving them an idea of what their course would entail and whether it is right for them or whether they found it dull.

As a graduating Senior High student, this has made me understand what I lack and has changed me to become a responsible strong independent woman. I've learnt a lot of things that I can apply in the future. Work immersion is extremely good because it is where I learn about things, I never imagined I could perform. With the influence of Work Immersion, it will help me enhance my cognitive skills, demonstrating increased attention control, better memory, and superior problem- solving skills as well as an enhanced understanding of my primary language. This prepares me for college, work or business, develop life and career skills, and have attitudes, appreciation and respect for work. It also allows me to have a smooth transition from school to work after I gain valuable experience. I can also learn a variety of things that can improve not only my skills but also my ethics. Early

exposure in a professional job will helps me cultivate and hone my attitude, discipline and behaviors within the field, it also gives me prior knowledge regarding the subject matter for me to be prepared in the future.
