Customer relationship management - CRM implementations increased rapidly in Slovenia in the last few years, following the trends elsewhere. Studies reporting how the implementation project goes on before, between and after the implementation are scarce. We offer a thorough case study analysis of the CRM implementation with a positive outcome in a Slovene service company. Case study demonstrates that CRM implementation is a holistic and complex concept, which means that it is not merely an integration of new information technology, but everything that happens around the business processes changes. We recommend that the company has already established a process approach and the orientation toward customers. Study showed the need for efficient leadership, acquirement of resources and CRM strategy implementation control; trust to the software solution shouldn’t be self-understood. Through implemented analytical CRM company can improve the relationship with customers, achieve larger information sharing between employees and accept better strategic decisions. In service industries, the customer relationship has become a core issue for achieving competitive advantage. The firms prefer to invest in the technology based Customer Relationship Management (CRM). However, mere implementing the CRM applications does not itself ensure success until the consequent factors of the CRM are considered by the enterprises concerned. This study provides the descriptive analysis of the CRM implementation and two important factors: customer knowledge and customization. The aim is to analyze the degree to which service firms utilize CRM technology, customize services and store customer knowledge. The results show that CRM application is extensively used in the firms who store and manage customer knowledge. This helps in increasing organizational performance. However, customization is not always the practice of the service firms.

There are few phenomena analysed among the expert community to such a great extent as CRM. Over the past twenty years, CRM has progressed down the road from a panacean tool that can cure all ills to the least desirable instrument used by managers, but has recently become indispensable in every company, regardless of its size or the industry it operates in. On the other hand, the response of the expert community through a large number of articles dealing with this phenomenon, i.e. the benefits of its application, preconditions required for its implementation and the failure analysis of the systems that implemented it, has contributed to a more precise comprehension. The aim of this paper is to present the possible views of CRM, and demonstrate the possible ways of CRM system implementation on a practical example of a company. The final section of this paper is dedicated to the most frequent reasons why these systems failed to produce the desired outcome.

This paper presents a study of epigraphy as a cultural practice in a case study focused on the northwestern Iberian Peninsula. The main goal is to identify the emergence of divergent dynamics in the adoption and dissemination of epigraphy as a practice, establishing a relationship between the epigraph and its social and territorial context. Therefore, we propose an analysis focused on the study of anthroponymy and theonymy, aiming to find out what practices were carried out, in what environments, and what was the origin of those who practiced them. This information on names and gods will be used to discover the origin of dedicators and divinities, and then related to different attributes, introducing a geospatial and statistical study of the epigraphic record. Accordingly, different trends to approach epigraphic records will be explored, the final step contrasting differences between rural and urban environments and whether that reflects in cultural expressions.

The abbot and apocalyptic theorist Joachim of Fiore (c. 1135–1202) created many enigmatic medieval diagrams. His Liber figurarum, produced in Cosenza and based on now-lost prototypes, consists of painted figurae that concretized the central tenets of his many apocalyptic treatises, sermons, hymns, and letters. These diagrammatic images are attributed to his hand or to the first generation of followers, and, collectively, they constitute a subcategory of apocalyptic art that elides narrative norms. This essay explores a single figura that features a chromatic seven-headed dragon inspired by the twelfth chapter of the Book of Revelation. Analysis of the diagram and comparison to painted content in a contemporary polemical text reveals the figura’s pivotal role in the pictorial formation of anti-Islamic content in the twelfth and early-thirteenth centuries.
